To pass savings on to clients, Transparen has allowed its BBB membership status to expire. Nevertheless, Transparen is committed to the following principles which originally led to the decision to purchase membership:
- Fair, open, and realistic contracts
- Meeting or exceeding the BBB code of ethics
- Resolving any disputes promptly and courteously within 10 days if possible
- Cooperating with the BBB's activities and efforts to promote self-regulation (this despite no longer paying to be considered a member firm)
- Prefer negotiation before arbitration, and arbitration before legal action
The majority of Transparen's clients are repeat customers, and the remainder come through referrals from repeat customers and search engine traffic. Transparen is fully committed to honoring all of its obligations and managing risk effectively.

As part of an ongoing commitment to improve our business processes and meet client expectations for reliability and ethics, Transparen Corporation has paid to be listed as a member firm of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Mainland British Columbia.
This marks the beginning of a new stage in Transparen's growth, as the company has reached a level of maturity that makes it eligible for BBB membership.
BBB membership requires member firms to have been in business for at least one year, or have good references from other businesses.
BBB membership implies that Transparen supports and is committed to (among other commitments):
- Cooperating with the Bureau's activities and efforts to promote self-regulation
- Meeting or exceeding the BBB code of ethics
- Resolving any disputes promptly and courteously within 10 days if possible
